That's no problem with the CoolLine: the selective cooling of the workpiece during the cutting process allows new geometries and significantly increases process reliability in the processing of thick mild steel.
During the processing, the cutting head with special nozzles sprays a water fog circularly around the laser beam onto the workpiece. The vaporization of the water results in the coolin of the material around the laser beam.
Thus, the temperature remains nearly constant during the cutting process - new geometries become possible and the machine cuts previously critical applications with higher process reliability.
