Protection for lenses and machines
You want to be sure that sensitive lens are not damaged by high laser power?
TruLaser machines cut at high laser power. That makes the cutting process fast and reliable, even for thick materials. However, high laser power can also place a lot of stress on the focusing lenses.
Any dirt on the lenses enhances absorption of the laser beam, and the lens heats up. In the worst case, it can even vaporize. This can be recognized by the lightning-like flash.
The lens monitoring sensor LensLine detects that flash, and immediately shuts the laser down within a few milliseconds, so that the vaporization of the lens is interrupted in time. This prevents poisonous gases from being released, or the beam guide from being contaminated.
