Accurate angles for large parts

Falling lot sizes, rising precision requirements and increasing steel prices mean that even the first bent piece has to be a good one. With the LCB® TRUMPF offers a contactless, optical system at the TruBend Series 8000.

The LCB® projects a line on the bottom tool and part, measuring the bending angle.

When you're working with large, thick parts, the use of a touch-free optical angle measurement system can be the right choice. That's why the machines of the TruBend Series 8000 have the mobile LCB® (Laser Controlled Bending) angle measurement system, in which a laser line is projected onto the bottom tool and bend part. An optical system measures the angle between the line on the lower tool and the line on the bend part.

The new LCB angle measuring system enlarges the field of application by 50% as it works for die widths of up to 150 mm.
