Seated operation
Bending can be a lengthy process. After eight hours, any operator gets tired. That's why – especially for small parts – it's beneficial to be able to operate the machine from an ergonomically correct seated position that's easy on the back. All bending stations can be comfortably reached while seated, and the bending process stays productive, right up to shift end.
Adjustable arm rests
In addition to seated operation, the arm rests of the TruBend Series 7000 allow ergonomic adjustment of the seating position of the operator, depending on the height of the lower tool and the geometry of the bend part.That supports the holding of metal sheets, the perceived workpiece weight is less, and the operator stays ready longer!
Adjustable footrest
The pressure bar on the TruBend Series 7000 is actuated by a foot pedal. To make it as accessible as possible to the operator and to support different seating positions and body size of the operator, it is located on a pivoting, height-adjustable support.
The pivoting control panel
The TASC6000 control panel built into the cover of the pressure bar can be motor-adjusted to the perfect viewing angle for standing or seated operation. Glare and any reflected light are avoided. Touch screen operation puts the operator in the picture and in charge at all times.
Storage system for the TruBend Series 7000
The three storage elements can be positioned as required on either side of the machine so that your TruBend Series 7000 meets your individual requirements in terms of ergonomics.
- Document holder for your drawings and production documents.
- Thanks to the ergonomic shelf, you always have easy access to drawings, blanks or personal items.
- With the drawer, your measuring tools are always right where you need them. It contains a digital caliper, a digital angle gauge and a 90° straightedge.
