Sheet positioning detection
The sheet sensor detects the height of the stack and the orientation of the sheets in two stages: a rough and a fine detection phase, using a CCD camera system. The top part is automatically introduced in the right orientation, and fed directly to the TruBend. You can entirely omit any mechanical centering station to reorient the sheets. That saves you time and valuable space in the bending cell.
Sheet separation:
Weight sensors integrated into the arm of the BendMaster detect when two sheets have accidentally been fed at the same time. Then the BendMaster can select a suitable separation strategy. One possibility is to separate the sheets from one another by gently bending them. Another is to set the sheets down and pick them up again.
