The light curtain
With the optional light curtain, two goals are achieved at the same time which normally interfere with one another: increased safety without sacrificing productivity.
- The light curtain on the TruShear Series 5000 makes the insertion of narrow, small strips of sheet metal faster and safer.
- The light curtain makes it safe for the operator to feed the machine quickly and efficiently, even for small parts.
- In contrast to metal safety grids, the sheets can be fed directly, without the need to swing a grid element out of the way.
