TeachLine

Thanks to the TeachLine sensor system, you can weld components also without time-consuming reteaching. This reduces the run-in times and also the fixture costs. And, in turn, it ensures high cost-effectiveness of the laser welding process even at small quantities.

Variable installation versions

You can load your TruLaser Weld 5000 according to your requirements. Various positioners are available for this purpose. With an NC rotary axis integrated in the robot control, the rotate and tilt positioner makes it possible to weld even components which are difficult to access in a single tool setup. The semi-automatic two-station rotary table is available for loading and unloading parallel to production. The quick, fully automated rotation of the positioner with the automatic rotational changer makes loading even quicker.

Rotary module for shield gas guidance

This module is used to steplessly rotate the shielding gas nozzle around the optics. There are less pauses for the realignment of the robot. This also reduces the effort required for the clamping system and programming. Conclusion: With the rotary module, your components are easier to access and you can weld considerably more quickly.

FusionLine

The new welding process stands for tolerant laser welding and is based on a perfectly coordinated combination of laser, beam guidance, optics and welding wire supply. FusionLine allows inaccuracies to be compensated in components during the welding process and gaps with a width of even up to 1 mm to be closed.

Fit for laser welding

With TRUMPF's production launch package, you can use your laser welding system productively right from the start. We support you step by step until your component has been run in on your machine and you can laser weld your first series.

1. Selecting the component

TRUMPF will help you choose a part for production ramp-up.

2. Experiencing the workshop

TRUMPF will run a workshop at its offices or at your company to teach you the basics of laser welding and fixture design. You can then apply what you have learned to the part you have chosen.

3. Constructing the fixture

As a special service, TRUMPF can design your fixture, which you will then manufacture yourself.

4. Running in the component

As soon as the machine is ready, it’s time to start production – and you can still count on our support. One of our application consultants will work together with you to run in the part, create the program, and optimize the welding parameters. So you learn the key rules for laser welding in a real-life production environment.

5. Productive laser welding

Once your machine is up and running, it takes just the press of a button to manufacture your first large-scale production part on your new TruLaser Weld 5000. You’re off to a highly productive start, and our training has given you the skills you need to quickly move on to welding other parts.
