The universal store makes sense:

  • for different pallet formats
  • for tall systems
  • for large systems
  • if larger speeds are required for the rack feeder (since the pallets do not have rollers)
  • if many storage stations are needed, or complex ones

Storage pallets without rollers

The storage pallets of a universal store don't have rollers.

Since the rack feeder needs to lift the pallets from their storage spaces, more room is needed for each storage space in comparison with a compact store.

Rack feeder ? telescoping fork

The rack feeder consists of a telescoping fork which lifts the storage pallets out of their storage spaces.
