TruTops CAD: Tailored for sheet metal
You create your 2-D sheet metal designs quickly and directly in TruTops CAD.
You work directly in the TRUMPF GEO format that you continue to use without additional work in the TruTops programming systems.
Efficient design of sheet metal parts
TruTops CAD is the TRUMPF 2-D CAD system. It provides everything for efficient sheet metal part design, such as automatic reconciliation of drawings or dimensioning. Important information for production is already added during drawing. In addition, TruTops CAD unfolds profiles automatically.
Simple data exchange
You can exchange data quite simply with other CAD systems via the usual exchange formats DXF, DWG, MI, IGES, and DSTV. You can also use TruTops CAD independently. TruTops CAD is integrated into the other TruTops products.
Draw variant versions quickly
Parts with the same or similar basic design only differing in length, width, or height can be very efficiently drawn with the option “Variants”. You change individual elements, whole sub-assemblies, or entire drawings with a flick of the wrist. Typical examples are house doors or vapor exhaust hoods.
